De Buck Gallery x Brothers of Charity

De Buck Gallery is proud to support the Brothers of Charity’s humanitarian efforts in the Central African Republic via the resale of works by French street artist Zevs.

The Brothers of Charity is a worldwide religious organization dedicated to providing humanitarian support to individuals, especially children and young people, living in war-torn countries. The Brothers are specifically interested in allaying the psychological effects of war, such as post-traumatic stress symptoms, in these populations. Their Arts for Charity initiative raises funds in support of their programs via the purchase and resale of works of art by street artists and other “Outsider” artists.

The Brothers of Charity have been long-time supporters of Zevs’ career and have acquired a number of icon works by the artist. The works are currently being sold via De Buck Gallery to benefit work performed by the Brothers of Charity in the Central African Republic. All proceeds from the sales of these paintings will go to the purchase of two buildings to be used as psychiatric facilities for children and young people in Bangui, a city greatly effected by the upheavals of war and sadly lacking in proper psychiatric care.
