I Cloud, 2015

In this work, the perhaps contradictory forces of technology and nature come face to face. A bird meets its fate on a computer keyboard – both have a specific lifespan, and both have a value placed on them by humans. In an age where nearly all information is stored digitally, “in the cloud,” everything, both concrete and factual, disappears into an abstract existence over time.
